This site contains adult fan fiction for the show Stargate SG-1. That means that they may contain sexual situations, graphic violence or mature themes. This is the sister archive to Heliopolis, a general fan fiction archive and fan site.

As an adult archive, some of these stories contain romantic or sexual relationships between the characters. We are open to all het 'ships, with no pairing preferences, except that we do not archive slash (homoerotic) fiction. There is a large slash archive called Area 52: The HKH Standard (The Stargate Sg-1 Slash Archive), if that is what you seek.

Archive Maintenance

It's that time again, for a major maintenance and back-up session for the archives this weekend. Please get all requests, changes, and/or suggestions in before Sunday. Thx.

Also, is there any interest in addding a sub-forum to the main Helio archives for SGU fan works?

Back up and Moving On
I need an external harddrive to back up Helio and all of the accessory stuff that entails. It is especially important as the fan is going out on my laptop, and I can only work in short bursts, and I don't want to lose it completely. We just moved to Oregon, so I don't know when I'll be able to afford a new computer.

I placed a reasonably priced hard drive on my Amazon wishlist if anyone would like to buy it. I would even take a used one, if you have one that you aren't using any more, just email me for the address.

Other good news - with the change in address, I was able to reinstate my Amazon Associates Account, so look for changes in that area of the site (it hasn't been updated in so long). I have some major housekeeping to do everywhere!

I am finally going to have some time to do so in the near future. I am really excited. Let me know what changes/suggestions you have in the next week or so via email or the site's contact form.

New Host Working
So, I've spent the last week or so moving things over the the new host. I increased the memory allotment for our VPS, with a separate allotment for the database. We have almost three times as much now. It's working out pretty well. I am also working on eliminating some of the security issues we were having that were causing so much downtime (spammers maxing things out).

The set-up fees for the new server and the monthly hosting bill will be due Friday, and on the 27th of each month. I don't get paid again until the 2nd, so I am hoping that a few people will help out.
