There were very few things Captain Samantha Carter wouldn’t do for her country as a member of Jack O'Neill's Special Ops team. Interesting take on the team's relationship. I like that Sam is strong and brave. Jack's marriage is good, and unexpected.
I suggest you use a beta reader, or run your chapters through a good grammer checker. It's disconcerting to read sometimes.

Ah, I had beta at one point, but unfortunately we didn't mange too keep in touch. I just noticed some of the errors in a late re-read that I completely missed reading the first times around. It was disconcerting for me, too. Sorry about that.
