I am a stay at home mom of five, with a little quilting business on the side. My husband got me into Stargate SG-1 by showing me a little episode called "Window of Opportunity". I was instantly hooked. Me who had always ridiculed Star Trek. Sigh.
So I spend most of the day cooking and cleaning, changing diapers, taking the dog out and doing laundry. I kiss boo-boos and do the grocery shopping and help with homework. I quilt on client quilts for my business (Akamai Quilts--Akamai means clever in Hawaiian).
But every once in a while, when the light is just right, I look up from my kitchen sink to see a Ha' Tak vessel looming off of South Mountain. So I button up my BDUs, grab my Zat and my P-90 and head off to take on the Goa'uld.
