Thank you for everyone who donated in May for the donation drive. I'll be catching up on my correspondance shortly. I've spent the whole month getting the archive functional again, and while I'm not completely done, it is great to have it reopened and available to you, and to feel like I can breathe again.

I'm very happy to announce that we raised 86% of our hosting costs for the coming year through the donation drive. You guys rock. For those who emailed me this weekend, yes, you can still donate through the end of this month, if you wish, or any time of the year. I am thinking of hosting future challenges through the site with Amazon gift certificates as prizes. Keep an eye out for more info in coming weeks.

There is an issue with the default skin (the green/white text skin) when using IE6. This issue does not occur with IE7 or firefox. If you are having a problem in another browser as well, please let me know. The Team skin does work in IE6, and may be chosen as an alternate on the User Preferences Page.

Because I took a shortcut in reopening the main archive, category and word counts are not current. This will be fixed as soon as possible. In the meantime, if you wish to correct your own story, Go to Account Info --> Manage Stories --> Edit. (You can make changes, but don't have to, then just Add Story.) Some stories are still missing and in the process of being added to the archive. You can contact me to prioritze the addition of missing chapters/stories, or add them yourself. (I'll check before adding anything so as not to duplicate your efforts.) A solution is currently being developed for outside links. Please do not submit these to this archive.

All archives are now available for submissions. Author accounts have all been released. If you have not received your password, please fill out the contact form with your penname and current e-mail address, so that I can update your information.

Stories May Only Be Submitted to One Type of Category. A story will be classified as Team, Character, or Pairing. You can indicate more than one category with that structure (Sam/Jack & Daniel/Janet, or Jack-based & Teal'c based), but cannot cross category types (A story cannot be both character based and team based. It cannot be team and Sam/Jack or other relationship). Friendship stories should still be placed in the pairing categories, if that relationship/friendship is still the main basis of the story. Uncategorized is an admin option, not a category open for submissions. If you have trouble placing your story, please contact a moderator. Stories that are incorrectly categorized will be rejected from admision to the archive.

If Chapters within a story are missing or out of order:
Account Info --> Manage Stories --> Add Chapter, to add any mising parts, then go to Edit Story, and scroll down to the bottom of the page. Use the arrow keys to place the chapters in the correct order.

To Indicate a Series
Instead of Add Chapter, choose Add Series. (At least one of the chapters/stories must be submitted to the archive first. This merely allows you to group together multiple submissions.)

To Change Chaptered Stories to a Series, or to combine multiple chapters that were posted as individual stories, contact me with the Name and URL of each part and a description of the problem.

All stories in the archive are currently marked as incomplete, as that is the default setting and I have no way of determining which are WIPs and which are not. It is the responsibility of the author to mark their stories as completed, and this can be done by going to your account, then edtit/delete stories, next to the title of your fiction, you will see the word complete followed by NO. Click on NO, which then turns into YES.

For stories posted under the wrong penname or title: contact me with the Name and URL of each part and a description of the problem.
